The Pululahua is an active volcano with the only inhabited crater in the world. It is a 5-kilometer diameter depression where endemic vegetation includes unique orchids and 33 different vegetation species per square meter. Birds are those typical of the humid forest of the North-Eastern zone of the province. This project conceived as a living sculpture, houses, on the basis of permanent art exhibitions, a fine collection of works of well-known Ecuadorian artists illustrating major achievement in painting, sculpture, engraving, photography, handcrafts, and others, works which are also available for purchase in our art gallery.
