Colca Lodge Spa & Hot Springs
In the mid 1980s, tourists began to arrive in the Colca Valley, attracted initially by the views of the canyon and the majestic flight of the condor. The first adventurers were accommodated in disused construction camps left over from the Majes project. This was the time when, believing there would be an increase in tourism in the future, our founders decided to set up the first hotel in the zone; its main attraction were the hot springs. During the 1990s and the beginning of the present century, Colca Lodge, as a part of the tourism division of the Grupo Inca, started to grow steadily until it became one of the chief and most complete hotel establishments in Colca.
At the present time, the Colca Lodge team brings together shareholders from Arequipa with a commitment to the development of sustainable tourism, managers imbued with the philosophy of providing professional hospitality for their guests, and friendly local people who are glad that Colca Lodge offers them a means of supporting their families. Providing our guests with personal attention, which is the focus of our day-to-day business, care of the natural environment, conservation of and respect for the local culture, together with the firm wish to continue offering opportunities for sustainable development in the area, are some of the main concerns of our team. We hope your visit will be enjoyable.
