At Ollantaytambo, you will find one of the most impressive architectonic complexes of the Inca Empire, which was an important administrative center that probably also served military purposes, as evidenced by its walls and towers. Additionally, there are remains of ancient roads and aqueducts that, together with the architectonic structure, make it one of the most amazing works built by the Incas. Currently, it is a “tambo” or refuge located in a strategic place in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, whose residents maintain the traditions and customs of their ancient civilization.
