La Mision Hotel is located in the center of the historic town of Colonia del Sacramento in front of the Plaza Mayor and steps away from the greatest city attractions. La Mision Hotel is just a few blocks away from Port Cargo and very close to the Port Yacht. Rooms are decorated to compliment the construction, maintaining its ancient style but gifted with modern comforts. All 12 guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, color television, refrigerator, telephone, private bathroom and 24 hour room service.
La Mision Hotel is framed by trees surrounding a refurbished eighteenth century house that maintains its original stone walls and its courtyard with a well. The entrance opens to a courtyard and provides access to the reception lobby. The courtyard is decorated with plants complimenting the Old Spanish architecture, harmoniously blending open spaces with nature.
Standard rooms are equipped with remote control air conditioning, color television, refrigerator, telephone, private bathroom and 24 hour room service.
La Mision Hotel in Colonia provides the Tea House for breakfast and drinks with a great variety of homemade produce of the region.
Visit the town of Colonia, with its its trim colonial centre, with narrow, cobbled streets and fine architecture. The small historic centre has nine small museums, which can be visited with only one entrance ticket, as well as many good quality restaurants. Visitors can go up to the top of the town's lighthouse for great views across the town and the Rio de la Plata.
