Day 1: Caracas
Upon arrival you will be met by our local representative who will help you locate your vehicle.
Airport transfer with private vehicle, and driver.
Accommodation: Embassy Suites (4*) The Embassy Suites Caracas hotel is conveniently located in the modern financial and commercial district of El Rosal (Caracas), across from the Centro Lido Shopping Center. This full-service, upscale Caracas hotel is located just minutes from the Caracas Boutique District and the Centro Shopping Center. Guests staying at the Embassy Suites Caracas hotel will enjoy the famous two-room hotel suites which consist of a spacious master bedroom and a luxurious living room, complete with all the hotel amenities you've come to love.
Top of Mount Avila
Day 2: Caracas
We will have an exciting ride in our 4x4 vehicles up narrow non-existent dirt roads to the village of Galipán, on top of mount Avila. The views from here are spectacular: on one side we see all of Caracas lying in a valley, and on the other side we see the Caribbean Sea. Adventurous spirit needed.

Day 3: Caracas - Los Roques
Airport transfer with private vehicle, and driver.
Fly from Carcas to Gran Roque, Los Roques. Flight time is approximately 35 minutes.
Upon arrival to Gran Roque airport you will be required to pay the Los Roques National Park Entrance Fee. Please note that due to regulations this fee cannot be pre-paid and has to be paid locally in Venezuela Bolivar OR USD Cash. The current price is $35USD Per Person however this is regulated by the Venezuelan government and subject to change without notice at anytime.
Upon landing in Gran Roque you will walk a very short distance to Posada Arrecife. This will be your base for the next 3 days. In the afternoon depart for a fishing excursion.
This 2N/3D fishing excrusion includes the following: flight caracas - los roques - caracas, fishing Boat with Crew & Guide, fishing licenses, accommodations at Posada Arrecife, all meals, non-alcoholic beverages, beer and rum.
Please note: the fishing gear (poles, bait, etc) is not included. Most people bring their own fishing gear with them. Gear can berented locally upon arrival. Cost depends on the quality of gear you rent.

Spend the day fishing in the picturesque waters surrouning Los Roques. This area is known as one of the most superb bonefishing destinations in the world!

Day 5: Los Roques - Caracas
After breakfast we will fish until it is time to catch the flight back to the mainland. Walk to the airport from the hotel and board your flight to Caracas

VISA/PASSPORT
A valid passport and a visa or tourist card are required for both US and Canadian citizens. Tourist cards are issued on flights from the U.S. to Venezuela for persons staying less than ninety days. Persons traveling for reasons other than tourism, however, should consult the Venezuelan Embassy or nearest Venezuelan consulate regarding possible visa requirements for their specific purpose of travel. Venezuelan immigration authorities may require that U.S. passports have at least six months validity remaining from the date of arrival in Venezuela. Some U.S. citizens have been turned back to the United States because their passports were to expire in less than six months.
Please note obtaining a visa is your responsibility. These requirements change often and therefore it is best that you check with the Embassy of Venezuela for the most up to date visa information.

Health insurance is required. Medical facilities are poor quality and not widespread. We recommend that you see a health-care provider who specializes in Travel Medicine. The doctor or health-care provider will determine what vaccinations and medication you will need, depending on factors such as your health and immunization history, areas of the country you will be visiting, and planned activities. - Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
