La Posada Caribana is located in a village of Rio Caribe Sucre state, northern South America, Rio Caribe is a site on the east coast of greater historical and cultural heritage. La Posada Caribana is a reconstructed house of the late nineteenth century, retaining its original design to offer all the amenities of a luxury inn and restaurant, a short distance you can enjoy beautiful and privileged places and tourist sites.
This well-appointed guesthouse is in a restored colonial house in the heart of the Latino-Caribbean style fishing port of Río Caribe. The Posada Caribana is just two blocks from the waterfront, which in the morning is bustling with fishermen selling their catch. It is 30 minute's drive from Carúpano airport and a pretty coastal drive of 2.5 hours from Cumaná.
The accommodation is in simply furnished colonial-style rooms with high ceilings, fan and private bathroom lining a small courtyard, large wardrobes, cable TV and air conditioning (no phone).
Breakfast and dinner are included and meals are served in the al fresco dining area beside the courtyard.
Posada Caribana is located nearby to the beautiful and glorious beaches and the principal town on the sparsely inhabited Paria Peninsula, filled with lovely, brightly coloured colonial buildings.
