Enjoy the culture and scenery of Nha Trang, Vietnam

Travelers on a tour of Vietnam who are looking to experience one of the most colorful, culturally rich and naturally beautiful areas in the country can do exactly that by visiting the city of Nha Trang. Nha Trang is bordered by a chain of mountains, and faces a beach along the Nha Trang bay of the South China Sea. This beach is one of Nha Trang's most impressive features.

The city itself features a hodgepodge of cultural influences. Half of Nha Trang is strictly in the classically Vietnamese tradition, while the rest of it is much more Western in its atmosphere and more like a resort, with tourist-oriented shops, bars and international restaurants.

The available activities in Nha Trang will likely be suited to the majority of travelers. Active visitors to the city can go on trips exploring the islands of the bay, go scuba diving or visit numerous historically significant sites. Those desiring a more leisurely experience can enjoy themselves relaxing on the beach or sipping cocktails at the local bars.

According to UNESCO, Vietnam contains seven locations designated as World Heritage Sites, including the Hue Monuments, My Son sanctuary and the Citadel of the Ho Dynasty.
