Go for a dip in the Dead Sea
Honeymooners going on a tour of Israel will want to pay a visit to the Dead Sea, which is home to one of the world's most unusual attractions as well as several luxury spas.
Located on the border between Israel and Jordan, the sea is located at the lowest point on Earth, at 1,269 feet below sea level.T he Dead Sea is formed by the collection of water from the nearby Jordan River, while the ambient heat and the low elevation cause the lake to be extremely salty.
This hypersalinity makes the sea a one-of-a-kind attraction for couples on their honeymoon. When pairs enter the water together, they will float easily, as the dense water makes it virtually impossible for swimmers to sink. Many travelers enjoy having their picture taken as they read a newspaper while floating on their backs.
Once newlyweds have finished swimming, they can head to one of the many spas located along the shores of the Dead Sea. The salty water mixes with other minerals in the nearby soil to create mud that has strong health benefits for the skin. Lovebirds can slather their skin with luxurious mud before taking a dip in therapeutic sulfur pools.
