An incredible exploration of one of the world's last pristine natural habitats, starting with the Okavango Delta in Botswana, the world's largest inland delta. The area was once part of Lake Makgadikgadi, an ancient lake that dried up some 10,000 years ago. Today, the Okavango River has no outlet to the sea. The waters of the Okavango Delta are subject to seasonal flooding, which begins about mid-summer in the north and six months later in the south (May/June). The delta provides a seasonal habitat to numerous different species. Among these are African elephants, the African Buffalo, the Hippopotamus, the Lechwe, the Topi, the Blue Wildebeest, the Giraffe, the Nile crocodile, the Lion, the Cheetah, the Leopard, Brown and Spotted hyenas.

Continue on to Namibia where you'll explore the bare plains of the Namib Desert, the apricot coloured dunes of Sossusvlei, the romantic coastal town of Swakopmund nestled between the Ocean and the Desert, and the abundant wildlife in the world renowned Etosha National Park. Namibia is known for its contrasting landscapes. Sossusvlei, Namibia's famous highlight in the heart of the Namib Desert, is a huge clay pan enclosed by giant sand dunes. Some of the spectacular hills of sand are, at a height of 300 metres, the highest in the world. The best time to view Sossusvlei is close to sunrise and sunset; the colours are strong and constantly changing, allowing for wonderful photographic opportunities. You can also enjoy exhilarating game drives & wilderness walks exploring the grass plains and red sand dune belts of the Namib Rand Nature Reserve. Finish your Namibia adventure with your private guide in Etosha National Park. Seek out the Big 5 as your guide will takes you to all of the great waterholes. You'll end your trip back in Windhoek where you'll catch your flight home or on to Cape Town. Includes internal flights. ... Show More »

  • Catherine L — May 05, 2019 — Africa

Everything was absolutely wonderful - from the planning to the execution. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will definitely work with Kensington on my next trip! (I'm headed to Hong Kong this December and think I should probably do some exploring while I'm there!)

  • Jennifer W — December 04, 2018 — Africa

Our trip was amazing! The accommodations were lovely. Our safari guide made the experience memorable! Our only job was to relax and enjoy. The guide for our day in Sawato and to visit the Apartheid museum was extremely knowledgeable. This is our second trip with Kensington Tours. We will definitely use again.

  • Tanya R — February 20, 2019 — Africa

We left everything to our tour rep, Louise Baer. She did a fantastic job. We had no expectations at all but were absolutely overwhelmed with our accommodations. We were treated so well by everyone. It was an unbelievable trip of a lifetime. Our drivers were fantastic. I felt so safe. Brilliant holiday. Thank you, Kensington!

  • Nina P — February 15, 2019 — Africa

We had a truly amazing trip. Gesa was responsive, accommodating and thoughtful in our planning process. We can’t say enough amazing things about Zuzu and Amin. Zuzu gave us a history of the country that was more authentic than anything we could read in a book. We felt completely safe and secure with Amin at the wheel. They were a great team.

  • Sharon M. — December 16, 2018 — Africa

This was the trip of a lifetime. I would not have gotten as much out of the trip if it were not for Evan, Kensington’s accommodations, and the guides! I had an amazing time on Safari, at Victoria Falls, and in Cape Town. I can’t remember all of the names of my guides but they were all knowledgeable and passionate not only about their respective countries, but passionate about their field. I felt safe and received the best education from all of them which is one of the main goals of my trips. Thank you Kensington!

  • Norah G. — September 05, 2018 — Africa

I thought the tour was so well planned, the accommodations were amazing, and the guides were so knowledgeable. I just want to go back!

  • Melvina Z. — December 26, 2019 — Africa

Zo, my guide in Madagascar was not only friendly and prompt, but also incredibly accommodating to do everything I wanted during my stay! It was another amazing trip to this beautiful island

  • Abdel J. — January 18, 2019 — Africa

Both of my guides were absolutely friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun. May-Asi was my Tanzania guide and George Aburuki was my Kenya guide. This two fellas were the best!

  • Jeanne E. — January 12, 2019 — Africa

Our guide Youssef was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about Morocco. Everything went smoothly and he executed the plan with expertise. My husband and I were very pleased with the itinerary, the accommodations that had to be made to it, and the surprises that Youssef made happen. He added a personal touch that was above and beyond. Our driver Mohamed is the consummate professional - way beyond expectations.

  • Annemarie R. — September 09, 2018 — Africa

Amanda was amazing. From Day 1 I felt I was speaking with someone who was well experienced and informed about planning an African Safari experience. She kept my budget in mind without comprising on the experience. Everything exceeded my expectations. She made it a lifetime memory and for the reason we shall return to Africa once again with the support of Kensington Tours. In today's complex world of travel, so much can go wrong but everything went seamlessly. Well done!
