A private transfer from Sydney to the airport is provided.

The impressive Bridge Climb is a 3 ½ hour shared journey to the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge at twilight. It takes you along the outer arch of the Bridge on catwalks and ladders all the way to the summit, 440 feet above Sydney Harbor. Twilight is BridgeClimb's most popular period, as you experience the best of both worlds with the transition from day into twilight or twilight into night as you move through the Climb. The experience is made all the more special by its exclusivity. Twilight can be enjoyed by only 1 in 8 Climbers, as just 96 places are available each day to climb during this special limited period. You’ll be led by one of BridgeClimb’s professional Climb Leader on an adventure of the world’s most recognizable Bridge. The steady incline to the summit leaves you free to focus your attention on your Sydney experience, with opportunities to witness 360 degree views of Sydney, including east to the Sydney Opera House, west to the Blue Mountains and the Harbor city surrounds. When you reach the top you will have a sense of achievement that you will remember forever - you've conquered an Australian icon recognized the world over! The Bridge Climb is the ultimate Sydney experience. The professional Climb Leader will take pictures of you on the Climb and at the end you will receive a commemorative Climber Certificate, Climber Cap and a complimentary group photograph, with all Climbers in the group receiving an identical photo. For safety reasons Climbers cannot take up personal items onto the Bridge (including cameras). On the climb enclosed rubber-soled shoes such as running, sport or hiking shoes need to be worn. Every climber will need to pass an alcohol breath test not exceeding the 0.05 limit. Climbing is possible for pregnant women if under 24 weeks pregnant with a medical practitioner’s certificate of fitness. The tour operates daily (except 25, 30 & 31 Dec, 1 Jan) in all weather conditions with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 14 passengers. Please check in 15 minutes prior to the climb at 5 Cumberland Street, the Rocks. Please note that you are required to make your own way to and from the climb.

Day 19: Sydney

Departing from the city we travel directly to the Blue Mountains and our first stop of the day is at Euroka Clearing located deep in the National Park. Here there is abundant birdlife to be found and it’s also home to wild kangaroos. We have time to wander at leisure to see if we can spot any of these beautiful native animals. Your guide will prepare a refreshing morning tea or coffee for you with some local delicacies

From Euroka Clearing we continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway. We will visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley seeing beautiful vistas. Where possible this will be away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day with other operators, thus our guests will enjoy a stress and hurry free environment taking in the views and information imparted by their guide.

Continuing on we arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Whilst the Blue Mountains features so much more than this natural attraction you can’t help but admire the unquestionable beauty of this amazing rock formation. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colours. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photos.

We then make our way around the mountain towards the village of Blackheath and our lunch venue the Hydro Majestic. Here in this relaxed venue with stunning views. We enjoy a 2 course lunch, food only. All diets are catered for (excluding Kosher Meals). Beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the Bar.

After lunch we visit Govetts Leap, one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. From here we will travel over to the western boundary of the park and descend down into Hartley Vale. Packed with history we will also be looking for kangaroos, emus and more birdlife in the beautiful farmland valley. Last stop at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens where there’s time for a short inspection of the flora including the ancient Wollemi Pine (Wollemia Nobilis), along with the offer of refreshments. From here we commence our return to Sydney to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4.30 - 5.00pm.

Note: Itinerary may change slightly depending on weather conditions.

  • Leonard C — November 07, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Can't think of a trip where everything went so well. Every transfer, every tour, both hotels, exceeded expectations. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable people from Renee through all we met on the ground in Cairns, Port Douglas and Mossman.

  • Juliet G — November 07, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Colin Rowe was fabulous. He showed real concern for our comfort and was always there to answer our questions. He is very knowledgeable and a real asset to your organization. We would ask for him by name if we travel again. The meals were delightful, and the tour guides were not only well versed in the culture and surroundings, but offered delightful personal stories during the ride that enhanced our trip. Our accommodations were excellent - both the Four Points Sheraton in Perth and the Radisson Blu in Sydney were first class. Clean and very comfortable. Overall, a wonderful trip!

  • Arthur P — September 08, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

It was all we hoped for and more, fantastic experience.

  • Kathleen H — September 08, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Our Kensington destination expert, Kate Perrier, did an extraordinary job of putting together a custom itinerary for my family. My family and I travelled nearly 11,000 miles to get to Australia and got to see everything we were most interested in thanks to Kate's expert planning!

  • Kathleen H. — September 26, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Our Kensington destination expert, Kate Perrier, did an extraordinary job of putting together a custom itinerary for my family. We wanted a wildlife (koalas, kangaroos, wallabies) focus and Kate suggested a multi day stay on Kangaroo Island. I hadn't even heard of Kangaroo Island but researched it on the internet after her suggestion and realized it was the perfect Australian destination for us. Our stay there was amazing - she arranged two full day tours that were superb. My family and I traveled nearly 11,000 miles to get to Australia and got to see everything we were most interested in thanks to Kate's expert planning!

  • Amy S — September 08, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Sydney was excellent all the way around.

  • Amy S. — September 26, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Sydney was excellent all the way around.

  • Michael P — August 22, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Everything went like clockwork! Our family absolutely loved our trip which was made possible by the Kensington travel team.

  • Pam Gerus — May 23, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

We've never done tours before and planning for Australia seemed overwhelming until I looked at tour options. Kensington was highly rated. I really liked the basics of the tour we picked and Jessica customized it and changed things around to better fit what we were interested in and the timing we preferred. I liked the multiple, smaller tours as opposed to being with the same group for a week. The tours selected were with great companies, small groups, very informative and fun. Also, I was pretty scrambled after the long flight. Having Lyn Redfern meet us at the airport, talk us through the plans, answer our questions, get us situated at the hotel was really comforting and welcoming. The selected hotels were great. Overall a good experience and I'd definitely consider having Kensington set up future trips.

  • Adeline R — February 07, 2017 — Australia & Pacific

Right from working with Jessica on setting our vacation plan to the execution was fantastic.
