You will be privately transferred between your accommodations and Perth Airport by a professional driver.

Enjoy an evening journey through Northbridge’s emerging food & beverage scene. Day 2: Perth

Experience a great day combining a visit to the Pinnacles with other amazing natural landscapes including pristine white sand dunes, spectacular coastal vistas and valleys with masses of grass trees, capped off with the chance to see kangaroos in their natural environment. Begin the day with a trip to the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Interpretive Centre, followed by a drive into the Pinnacles Desert. Traveling the two and half mile (four kilometer) trail is a unique experience, highlighted by the thousands of limestone pillars that look like they may be ancient ruins or from Martian lands. After lunch in Cervantes, visit Thirsty Point to see the pure white beaches and sparkling turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a beach walk before moving onto Lake Thetis to view the Stromatolites, one of the earliest forms of life on the planet. After a day of discovery, you will be returned to your accommodations in Perth.

Day 3: Perth

Today, head out for a full day adventure to Rottnest Island, Western Australia’s idyllic island escape. Explore the beauty and tranquility of Rottnest as you relax in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach. This 90-minute circumnavigation of the island takes you out to some of Rottnest's most spectacular locations and provides you with a complete interpretation of the island through the passionate and knowledgeable crew. This tour will provide you with an insight into Rottnest's cultural and historical heritage, diverse wildlife and fauna and social heritage. You will also have a chance to step outside and have a stroll along the boardwalk at the majestic look-out point at West End. Complete your day with a beautiful lunch at Rottnest Lodge. The tour departs at 8.30 a.m., returns at 5.30 p.m. and can accommodate up to 100 passengers. A return transfer to your accommodation in Perth is included.

Day 4: Perth - Exmouth - Ningaloo Coast

Board a flight in Perth with direct service to RAAF Base Learmonth near Exmouth. Approximate flight duration is one hour and 50 minutes. Please note, this flight is not included and must be purchased separately.

You will be transferred between RAAF Base Learmonth and the Ningaloo Coast cruise terminal near Coral Bay. Approximate travel time is one hour and 10 minutes.

After arriving at the local marine facility near Coral Bay, embark Shore Thing in preparation for a 4:00 pm departure.

Sailing through the Indian Ocean along the Ningaloo Coast, navigate toward the pristine Five Fingers Reef to revel in a late afternoon snorkeling or diving adventure. Following this introductory plunge, visit the main deck of Shore Thing to sip on a cool refreshment as the sun dips below the horizon over Western Australia. To ring in the evening, consider casting a line from the back deck to try your hand at fishing, then settle in for dinner in the dining area, which may well feature your freshly caught seafood.

Day 5: Ningaloo Coast

Begin the day with a hearty and energizing breakfast and then participate in a morning snorkel at The Stag Forest, a beautiful coral garden that is host to branching coral formations and numerous marine turtles. After morning tea, set sail for the next snorkel location – the Sanctuary – where reef sharks abound, turtles swim and large ray’s rest, to snorkel along sandy underwater pathways fringed by hard coral outcrops that rise to the water’s surface.

Dine on a freshly prepared gourmet buffet lunch before immersing yourself in Ningaloo's crystal clear waters or simply relax on the deck of Shore Thing. As the day winds down, consider another snorkeling excursion ahead of a delicious two-course meal and some well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Ningaloo Coast

After breakfast aboard Shore Thing, take to the waters on a kayak and make your way along the secluded coastline of Pelican Point, keeping an eye out for large rays and sea turtles in the shallows. With the assistance of your naturalist guide and crew, find the best snorkel or dive sites based on prevailing conditions; between renowned locations like Syd’s Harbor and Goliath’s Den, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Anchorage will be set for the evening at Point Maud, a location famed for the many pods of dolphins and dugongs that call these waters home. For guests visiting between June and October, a special treat’ humpback whales are often spotted here as they migrate along the coastline.

Day 7: Ningaloo Coast

Experience an abundance of marine life as you explore Ningaloo Reef and Coral Bay. Based on conditions, you’ll visit a resident population of coastal manta rays that frequent the inner reef to mate, feed and give birth. After a presentation from your guide on manta ray biology and behavior, snorkel with these graceful creatures and assist in identifying the rays via photo identification. Just ahead of lunch, take part in a final snorkel outing at Asho’s Gap, a clean station for reef sharks. Watch as the sharks swim in the large cabbage coral and hold themselves steady in the currents with the mouths open to allow smaller fish to dart in and out of their mouths and gills.

Upon arrival to the marine facility near Coral Bay at approximately 12:30 pm, disembark Shore Thing and bid farewell to captain and crew after an unforgettable adventure exploring the Ningaloo Coast.

You will be transferred between the Ningaloo Coast cruise terminal near Coral Bay and your accommodation along the Ningaloo Coast. After transferring to the Exmouth region, change vehicles and board a new coach which will take you to your destination. Approximate travel time is two hours and 20 minutes.

Day 8: Ningaloo Coast

The Whale Shark Swim experience with Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef begins with a 30 minute transfer from Sal Salis to Tantabiddi Boat Ramp. Once on board you will be kitted out with a wetsuit & snorkel gear. A spotter plane will already be in the air, searching for whale sharks as they feed. One their location is determined, you’ll head into the heart of the action. Whale sharks continually move, so swimming is required during the interaction; you will need to be a confident swimmer, able to snorkel and swim freestyle. The whale sharks are found in the open ocean so you may be swimming in current and swell. With luck, you’ll spot more than whale sharks, as the crew will be searching for turtles, rays, dolphins, dugongs and sea birds as well. Morning tea and later a delicious lunch is served on-board, and the tour culminate with a return transfer to Sal Salis.

Day 11: Seminyak (Bali)

Start the day with a visit to Kerta Gosa, or Hall of Justice, built in 18th century in Klungkung. It is beautifully laid out within a moat and provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung style of painting and architecture which can be seen in the ceiling murals. Continue through spectacular views of terraced rice fields to Besakih temple, located on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali's highest volcano. It's called Mother Temple of Bali as it houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese and a complex of nearly 24 temples. The next stop will be Kintamani, where you can enjoy your lunch with a breathtaking view over the caldera lake, Danau Batur. Driving down, arrive in the bottom of a lush green valley where the Gunung Kawi temple, Bali's largest ancient monument is located. It consists of 10 rock-cut shrine memorials standing 7 meters high in sheltered niches cut into the sheer cliff face. End the tour with a stop at Goa Gajah before returning to your hotel.

  • Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
  • Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
  • Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.

When we could not resolve this on our own we reached out to the after-hours contact at Kensington and between her and our original trip organizer, the issue was resolved for us promptly.
