The Peninsula Waterfront Retreat situated on a small headland on the shores of the Whangamata Harbour in the Coromandel Peninsula, this large lodge styled home sits on 1.5 acres of tropical gardens, boasting a swimming pool, and tennis court.
The private accommodations are located in the west wing of the retreat, comprising of a luxury two bedroom apartment and separate upstairs master suite, these are perfect for couples, families and friends. With its spectacular surf beach, shopping, restaurants and cafes you can enjoy the holiday atmosphere of this unique coastal town. Being centrally located, Whangamata is the perfect base to explore the Coromandel Peninsula.

    The self contained guest apartment, has a lounge with TV, Sky, DVD and stereo, kitchenette, master bedroom/king bed and a second bedroom with twin king single beds that can be reconfigured as a king bed, bathroom with walk in shower and second separate toilet. The private patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ provides a peaceful retreat with relaxing views of the Whangamata Harbour.

      Master Suite

      Upstairs the separate master suite can be combined with the guest apartment providing accommodation for up to six people. With a king bed, lounge, TV, Sky, DVD and stereo, ensuite and two balconies with views over the pool and harbor it is perfect for couples that want privacy. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

      The Peninsula Waterfront Retreat is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a range of activities including tennis, petanque, mountain biking, kayaking and swimming in the private pool area. A short drive takes you to pristine sandy beaches for surfing and boogie boarding, scenic walks in the forested hills can be enjoyed or visit the township of Whangamata for its café culture and shopping. Offshore the waters are a delight for anglers and scuba divers. Excursion such as aboard a charter vessel where you can experience the thrill of catching fish, snorkeling, swimming in the crystal clear water or a scenic cruise to a secluded beach for a picnic can be arranged (extra charges apply).
