Housed in a historic 1930's mansion, Villa Ganz Boutique Hotel has been acclaimed as the First Luxury Boutique Hotel in Guadalajara. It has ten beautifully restored rooms decorated in exquisite good taste. Guests will find picturesque corners and magical spaces in this two story villa, which brilliantly evokes the noble mansions of yesteryear. Since the hotel is located in the culinary heart of Guadalajara, guests can order meals to be delivered from any number of specialty restaurants or dine within the hotel. Services such as massages, facials, and body treatments are also offered for the guests.
The Junior Suite is the most intimate and is located on the hotel’s top floor. It’s smaller than the rest, but its vaulted Catalan ceiling and large window with a street-view balcony give the impression that it is quite spacious. A gorgeous antique chandelier is also part of the décor. The suite has a queen size bed, as well as a charming desk and a full-length mirror, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The bathroom has a skylight and is decorated with lush potted plants.
The Master Suite is one of the most romantic suites, thanks to its layout and décor. Located on the first floor, it is quite spacious and has a view of the garden. Because of its location, it is one of the most private and discrete suites. The furnishings include a desk and an armoire with a television set, among others. An ample archway opens up to the two-person bathtub, set under a dome that allows the midday sun to illuminate the room.
The Grand Master is the most sought after suite in the hotel, as well as one of the most spacious accommodations. It’s a favorite with couples looking for a romantic setting. The suite is located on the second floor, and has large windows with a balcony that overlooks the garden. The suite has a king size bed and a sitting area with comfortable armchairs and a coffee table, a work station and other amenities including a book case filled with interesting titles and an armoire with a rotating television stand. There’s also an extra special touch: a hammock for an afternoon siesta. The bathroom also has a vaulted ceiling, a skylight dome for natural lighting and a large tub.
This cozy dining room with a view of the garden and the terrace offers two tables with wrought iron chairs with rush seating, as well as an ample sideboard that doubles as space for the delicious breakfast buffet in the mornings and well-stocked bar in the afternoons.
Villa Ganz has a beautiful tropical garden in its midst, complete with lounge chairs for sunbathing. Nature is at its best here, offering guests a fragrant combination of plants, fruit trees, and a brilliant palette of flowers surrounding a bubbling fountain. Breakfast under the enormous lime tree is a treat; in the afternoons, guests love to sit under its shade to enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a wondrous bit of peace and quiet.
