The Hotel Metropole is conveniently located in the historic center of the city, a mere 10 minute walk from the Grand Place. Café Metropole faces the vibrant Brouckère square and offers a high-end brasserie cuisine in line with Brussels’ tradition. The Café’s new menu revives the history of this building which was founded by the Wielemans-Ceuppens brewer’s family in 1890. You can also enjoy a superb selection of Belgian crafted beers or have a cup of tea. Besides traditional brasserie starters and main courses, you can enjoy our renowned chef’s specialties such as homemade duck foie gras with port jelly, the Metropole Signature chicken burger or even Nougat glacé with red berry coulis. Le Jardin Indien restaurant is an exotic salon and restaurant that is boasting brilliant colors and filled with natural sunlight. The delightful breakfast nook decoration was inspired by the mysteries of the Indian gardens. You can choose to either have a sumptuous dining menu of fresh fruits, cereals, and yogurts along with a breakfast buffet or eggs "à la carte" or just sit back and sip your coffee or tea.
Located in the majestic lobby of the Metropole Hotel, Le 31 Bar is a trendy downtown spot. Re-decorated in 2011, you will enjoy colorful frescoes, new furniture designed by Miss Sandrine Saint Hilaire from the Cartisane Decor S.A. and Belle Époque lamps in a new and prestigious décor. It also offers a great drinks menu with selection of classic cocktails, rare whiskies and prestigious champagnes.
