With a structure-free south side of the street, Princes offers panoramic views back across the scenic Old Town, considered one of the most beautiful skylines in Europe. Day 4: Inverness

As a small group of no more than 16 participants, head out on a full day adventure thorough some of Scotland’s most iconic scenery. Driving along the shores of Loch Ness, you'll stop at the village of Invermoriston, where you can take in the serene views, see a delightful ruined bridge, and keep an eye out for 'Nessie', legendary creature said to take refuge in the depths of the loch below. Your journey then winds past the Five Sisters, a stunning range of mountains that dominates the surrounding landscape. You’ll then arrive to the Isle of Skye, making a stop so to admire the picturesque beauty of the 13th century ruins of Eilean Donan Castle - easily recognized as one of the most iconic sights in the country. There will be time for an optional visit of the castle on its separate tidal island, though admission (if desired) is payable on the spot. Your experience on the Isle of Skye will have you brought along the stunningly beautiful road through Glen Suardal, see the iconic Red Cuillin Hills, and enjoy views of Bla Bhein - often considered Scotland’s prettiest mountain. The road then drops to hug the banks of Loch Slappin where you’ll be able to stop and enjoy some beach combing, before your journey takes a steep climb over Strathaird to reach the little community of Elgol, offering superb views of the Black Cuillin Hills and the stunning seascapes towards Rum and other small isles. Return to Inverness via the scenic Black Isle, with views over the Moray Firth.

Day 5: Inverness - Fort William

Meet your private driver and vehicle for a transfer to Fort William. Approximate travel time is 1.5 hours.

Transfer by local taxi. Please note that this service is not included, and is payable locally.

This afternoon, travel back in time on a legendary Jacobite Steam Train as it takes you on a scenic journey to the west coast. The 84-mile round-trip journey features old-fashioned carriages and compartments, a pure nostalgia of traveling under the power of steam, as the locomotive winds through Highlands valleys and beside lochs and glens. Starting in Fort William, travel along the shores of Loch Eil, stopping for half an hour at Glenfinnan. One of the main highlights of the journey is crossing the 21 arches of the Glenfinnan viaduct, memorably captured in the Harry Potter films and overlooking Loch Shiel. After, the train passes through the villages of Lochailort, Arisaig, and Morar before reaching the end of the line in Mallaig, the ferry port for the Isle of Skye. Views from Mallaig stretch across the water to the islands, and the little harbor town is small enough to explore on foot after the train ride. You will have about an hour and a half to explore Mallaig before the return journey to Fort William commences, arriving back at approximately 8:30pm.

Transfer by local taxi. Please note that this service is not included, and is payable locally.

Day 7: Dublin

Meet your private guide at your hotel and set out on foot for a half-day walking tour of Dublin, exploring the highlights of the lively Irish capital. Stroll through the landscaped grounds of St Stephen’s Green, a public park dating back to 1664, followed by a walk through Merrion Square, with its impressive red brick Georgian townhouses. Stroll past the historic Dublin Castle, former seat of the English, along with the Lords and Kings of Ireland, now used for all State ceremonial events. Pass by Christchurch, built by the Anglo-Norman’s in 1172 to replace an earlier Church built by the Vikings in 1038. No visit to Dublin would be complete without a visit to St Patrick’s Cathedral, a highlight of your tour. Built in 1192, it is one of Ireland’s largest cathedrals, made famous by its former dean Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver’s Travels. Check out the old cobbled lanes and hip establishments of Temple Bar, Dublin’s cultural quarter, and visit Trinity College where you’ll be able to see the 8th century Book of Kells, perhaps the world’s most beautifully illustrated book and gaze upon the 200,000 books of the long room. Conclude your tour back at your hotel.

Enjoy admission to the Guinness Storehouse, granting you access for a self-guided tour exploring Ireland's number one visitor attraction, providing an unforgettable welcome and a magical journey deep into the heart of the world famous Guinness brand and beer company. This historical building is central to the heritage of both Dublin and Ireland, and has been continually updated to create a blend of fascinating industrial tradition with a contemporary edge. The seven floors of the Storehouse bring to life the rich heritage of Guinness, telling the story from its origins at St James's Gate in Dublin to its growth as a global brand, known all around the world. Poets, painters, writers and musicians have all tried to convey the beauty of the Ring, with mountains, valleys, and lakes, blending into a palette of scenic splendor. You’ll travel through Molls Gap, a scenic mountain pass through the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks, and Ladies View, offering a majestic viewpoint across Killarney National Park, then continue along the broad, dramatic coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula and through the charming villages and towns of Killorglin, Cahirsiveen, Waterville and Sneem, where your guide can point out a resort frequented by the famous and regal for its renowned Afternoon Tea. Day 10: Killarney - Newmarket on Fergus

Transfer from Killarney to Newmarket on Fergus today in the company of your private driver-guide, gateway to a day of exploration in the Burren and Cliffs of Moher, a UNESCO Global Geopark in West Clare. This area is ranked at the top of Ireland's most rugged and dramatic landscapes, with shifting and sculpted stone creating unforgettable scenery you won't want to miss. Discover the quaint and picturesque seaport villages of Kinvarra and Ballyvaughan, the former of which will allow you to catch views of the 16th century Dunguaire Castle, one of the most photographed castles in all of Ireland. In Polnabrone, head out across a rocky, glacio-karst field worn away by ancient glaciers to view an impressive neolithic portal tomb, called the Poulnabrone Dolmen, a stone burial monument erected by some of the very first settlers to this remote, pitted landscape over 5,200 years ago. On arrival to visit the Cliffs of Moher, you'll head out along the pathways, walking to various viewing platforms for different lookout points out across what is easily one of Ireland's most iconic views - offering moments of contemplation and awe, as you gaze out across sheer, eroded cliffsides which drop dramatically down 700 feet to the North Atlantic below. Conclude your day in Newmarket on Fergus.

Fantastic tour that met all our special requests! Our anniversary celebration was perfect! Our grandchildren made so many memories from playing in the fields of the farm to sailing through the fjords and eating desserts at all the bakeries! A marvellous intergenerational experience!

  • Julie S — July 05, 2019 — Europe

Thank you to Daniel for making our family’s trip to Greece so enjoyable and memorable. We asked him for an “Instagram” worthy trip, and he delivered! The hotels on the islands were stunning, and our private tour guides at each stop easily accommodated our individual wishes. Our trip was the perfect mix of relaxation and exploration.

  • Elizabeth B — July 20, 2019 — Europe

I cannot tell you how impressed we were with your services. Everything from the drivers to the hotels to guides was five stars! We never had to wait in line and were treated like royalty. I highly recommend the private boat ride/tour to Capri. It was fabulous! We had never been to Italy and left feeling like we learned so much. We fell in love with the people and culture. We cannot wait to have Kensington book our next adventure.

  • Kimberly E — July 14, 2019 — Europe

It was the first time we have used a company of this nature to manage our bookings. Most often I book my rooms, and tours, but after this experience, I would definetely use Kensington again for a trip of this type. Our Destination truly supported us and allowed us to make changes until the plan was just perfect for us. This truly showed when we were in country and everthing went off perfectly. I was worried to have other book items on my families behalf seeing as we were traveling with kids (age 8 and 10), but I feel our destination Expert did take that into account and it was perfect.

There is so much to say about this amazing family trip to northern Spain we just came home from, but in short, the trip was even more than we could have hoped for - From the planning to the tour guides, drivers and accommodations our needs were met and in most cases surpassed. There is no way the trip could have been as successful without the help of Maryanne from Kensington Tours and her team.

Our Iceland trip was fantastic. From planning with Melissa (many times over until we had it right) to being greeted in Iceland and all of the wonderful tours we took, we had a fabulous time. Our guide, Sigga, was excellent. She guided us, told us tales of Iceland, was extremely accommodating with my elderly mom. We enjoyed being with her very much. Inke, our guide to the glacier, was also wonderful. We had a great time and felt Kensington did a fabulous job. Thanks!

The trip overall was amazing and all the activities and travel plans went so very smoothly. Our whole familiy really enjoyed every day of the trip. Patrick McCallion, the expert from your agency who helped us, was awesome! He not only set up everything perfectly for us but helped us with reservations for dinners at fine dining places and answered many questions we had in advance. We did leave our glasses in the van at one point in Barcelona and had to contact the local agent who quickly retrieved the glasses for us without any problem. We highly recommend this agency given the quality of the experience, the smoothness of the itinerary, and the flexibility to tailored the experience to our needs. Thank

This was our 6th Kensington tour. We have gone as a couple on trips and taken our children sometimes to destinations all over the world. We have never been disappointed and have had the most personal and professional service. We would not even consider using anyone else. Thank you Alania for everything! Our most recent trip to Russia and Scandinavia was fabulous and perfectly planned!
