Munich's Royal & Cultural Heritage
Explore Munich’s royal heart on foot with your private guide, tracing the city’s cultural life from Marienplatz and the Glockenspiel to Odeonsplatz, the Theatine Church, and the Bavarian State Opera. Inside the Munich Residence, the former palace of the Wittelsbach dynasty, richly decorated halls and ceremonial rooms reveal the scale of Bavaria’s royal legacy. Weather permitting, continue through the Hofgarten before following Maximilianstrasse into Lehel, one of Munich’s oldest quarters, for a relaxed cafe stop in a quieter corner of Old Munich.
Our tip is to begin the evening with a cocktail in one of Munich’s polished aperitif settings, from the historic terrace at Goldene Bar to the floral signatures of Juliet Rose or the intimate rooftop mood at HiT Bar. These are independent suggestions to enjoy at your own pace, with any drinks or transportation settled directly.

Bavarian Alps & Neuschwanstein Castle
Travel from Munich to Oberammergau by private vehicle with your driver, turning the journey south into a scenic introduction to Bavaria’s royal landscapes. Near Hohenschwangau, pause to visit Neuschwanstein Castle, King Ludwig II’s 19th-century retreat set above alpine foothills, lakes, and forested valleys. Your transfer remains private throughout, while the castle interior is visited as part of Neuschwanstein’s shared guided format. After time at the castle and a stop for lunch (meal cost not included), continue through the Bavarian countryside to Oberammergau.
Experience the beauty of the Bavarian Alps as you arrive in the Passion Play village of Oberammergau. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, enjoying the charm of the surrounding area, traditional Bavarian hospitality, and spectacular mountain scenery before tomorrow's Passion Play.
Enjoy a three-course dinner with selected beverages at your hotel, providing a relaxed start to your stay.

Oberammergau's Once in a Decade Event
Take the morning at an easy pace in Oberammergau, with time to rest, walk through the village, or enjoy the mountain setting before the day’s main event. The slower start gives you space to settle into the rhythm of the town before the Passion Play begins.
Experience the Oberammergau Passion Play, a remarkable tradition performed once every decade since the villagers fulfilled a vow first made in 1633. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Bavarian Alps, the open-air production brings the story of Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection to life through powerful performances, orchestral music, choral singing, and living tableaux. Presented in two parts with a dinner intermission, this extraordinary cultural and faith tradition continues to inspire visitors from around the world.
During the intermission, enjoy a three-course dinner with selected beverages before returning for the concluding performance.

A Taste of Bavarian Tradition
A private transfer from Oberammergau to Munich is provided. Approximate travel time is one hour.
Work alongside Ludwig Neulinger, a Munich master baker, for a hands-on pretzel-shaping session in his own bakery, filled with the scent of fresh dough and the warmth of the oven. He walks you through kneading the foundational dough and twisting each pretzel by hand, offering tips at every step so the crust comes out golden and the shape holds. The workshop closes with a tasting of your own warm, salted pretzels and butter, with drinks available to purchase on site.
Our tip is to visit HofbrÄuhaus in Munich, once Bavaria's royal brewery and now its most celebrated beer hall, home to Oktoberfest's second-largest tent, HofbrÄu-Festzelt. Settle into die Schwemme or the Biergarten with a stein of house brew, often to live music, and spot the safes where regulars keep their prized mugs. Your meal is paid locally.
