To ensure your comfort, an English-speaking guide will be waiting for you outside of Customs holding a sign with your name on it. This representative will direct you to your awaiting vehicle and driver, and accompany you to your hotel to assist with check-in.

Upon arrival in Chile, you will receive a PDI Entry Form at customs. Please take a photo of this form and keep the physical copy with you during your stay. Hotels will request it at check-in, and it must also be presented when departing the country.

Explore Chile’s fascinating past in a privately guided tour of its capital city Santiago. Your adventure begins with a visit to La Moneda; a colonial plantation house that was turned into the Government Palace, where you learn about its historical and current significance. Next, stroll down the pedestrian streets of HuÉrfanos and Ahumada, the hub of Santiago’s commercial activity, and get a glimpse of the city’s modern life. Afterwards, visit the main square also known as Plaza de Armas. The square was the centerpiece of Santiago’s initial layout and you will be treated to views of remarkable buildings, including the Metropolitan Cathedral. The tour continues as you make your way to the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. Here you get a unique opportunity to hear a lecture about some of the intriguing societies that have lived in this remote part of the world. As you explore the museum, see its impressive collection of artifacts from all over Latin America, including items originating from Easter Island. Your tour concludes with a private transfer back to your hotel.

You will be privately transferred from Santiago to the rolling hills of the San Antonio Valley while stopping en route in the beautiful Casablanca Valley first. A renowned wine-producing region in central Chile, the Casablanca Valley is primarily known for its production of white wines, especially Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The cool climate allows for a longer ripening period, resulting in grapes with vibrant acidity and intense aromas. You will have the opportunity for a tasting and lunch pairing at Kingston Family Vineyards who is recognized for its commitment to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique character of the region. Their focus on Pinot Noir and Syrah, along with their sustainable practices, has garnered them acclaim both domestically and internationally. Afterwards, make your way to Casa Marin which is considered to produce some of the best cool climate wines in the country as well as the world with numerous international awards. Following your time at Casa Marin, you will be dropped at your hotel in the San Antonio Valley.

At La Casona Matetic, a wide variety of outdoor activities can be pre-booked by your Destination Expert or locally. The excursions aim to connect visitors with the natural beauty of the Rosario Valley, from a relaxing stroll or outings that requires more physical effort. Some of the top choices include walking the Huayun Trail or “Trail of the Senses” among a number of other rambling paths that pass through rolling hills and stunning valleys. All trails are well-marked and perfect for self-guided afternoons with hikes ranging from 90 minutes to two hours. Not in the mood for a walk? You can also choose from a selection of short to long biking circuits. Alternatively, consider a horseback riding experience. Short rides last one to two hours, with a 30-minute break; long rides last three to four hours with a break for either lunch or snacks. Terrain includes ravines and hilltops and spectacular views of Rosario Valley and a conducted with five or six guests per ride. The staff may assess your riding skills before choosing your excursion.

From La Casona Hotel, enjoy a tour of the wine cellar with a view of the organic vineyards, and an explanation of the processes of wine-making, bottling and storage. Achaval-Ferrer: A small winery because this is the key to top quality. Low yields allow the vineyards to express their personality in the grapes. Low intervention winemaking allows the grapes to fully express their vineyard in the bottle. Each of their wines is a different expression of Malbec.

Susana Balbo Wines: Establishing herself as Argentina's first female enologist, Balbo has played a significant role in promoting Argentine Malbec wines globally. She recognized the potential of Malbec as Argentina's flagship grape and worked towards elevating its reputation. Her Malbec wines have received critical acclaim and have contributed to the rise of Argentine wines worldwide.

Trapiche: With a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1883. Trapiche is one of the oldest and most traditional wineries in Mendoza. Over the years, it has become synonymous with quality winemaking and has played a significant role in shaping the Argentine wine industry.

Plaza Dorrego is the place to be on Sundays to find anything from antiques, memorabilia, second-hand clothes to dusty magazines during its traditional Antiques Fair. Next, set out to experience La Boca, arguably one of the city's most authentic neighborhoods. La Boca's history was largely shaped by immigrants who established themselves within this gritty port-side barrio. A working-class district, La Boca has jealously guarded its identity, of which soccer and tango are major ingredients. What will strike you immediately is the peculiar architecture, especially along Caminito Street, which in 1959 was declared an outdoor museum. It is the work of one of Argentina’s most famous painters and neighborhood philanthropists, Quinquela MartÍn. He gathered neighbors to paint the houses, made out of tin and scrap metal, in bright colors, emulating the early immigrants. The most recognizable icon, though, is La Bombonera (the Chocolate Box), right in the heart of the area and home of the Boca Juniors, the country’s largest soccer club.
