Day 1: New Orleans

Meet you private driver in baggage claims for a transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival at your hotel, a representative will welcome you, go over your itinerary, and provide assistance with finalizing any details.

Enjoy a private demonstration of a Sazerac and gin fizz cocktail creation at the world-famous Sazerac bar, which carries as much history as its potable namesake. Learn about the delicious cocktail's history and treat your taste buds to its legendary flavor.

Meet your private driver at your hotel before being experiencing two areas of New Orleans that epitomize Southern Gothic. Explore the beauty and spirit of the city on a 2-hour privately-guided walking tour through its historic Garden District and ending at Lafayette Cemetery #1, a graveyard rich in stories of the city's colorful past. After meeting your knowledgeable historian guide, you'll first meander through the majestic neighborhood of the city's Uptown area, legendary for its grand estates. Here you'll find America’s best collection of Antebellum mansions and 19th century architecture. From 1850s Greek Revival to 1870s Italianates to 1890s Queen Annes, the Garden District is composed of exquisite homes designed by some of the city’s most famed architects, boasting oak-lined streets and intricately manicured gardens. After wandering through the Garden District, you'll enter the magnolia-shaded Lafayette Cemetery #1, abundant in imposing stone-carved tombs. Lafayette #1 has also served as the setting for many popular film and TV scenes, including playing a large part on The OriginalsNCIS: New Orleans and the movie Double Jeopardy. Day 2: New Orleans

Join your private driver-guide for a tour offering insights into the struggles, successes, conflicts, and contributions of people of color throughout New Orleans' history. This city is home to over 300 years of history in which the construct of race and the contributions of people of African descent are ever-present.
