Cultural Immersion
Explore Buenos Aires’ San Telmo and La Boca neighborhoods with your private guide, beginning with pickup at your hotel. San Telmo’s antique shops and Plaza Dorrego give way to La Boca, a historic port district shaped by immigrant communities and known for its soccer and tango culture. Walk along Caminito, where brightly painted tin houses reflect the influence of artist Quinquela MartÍn, who encouraged local residents to bring color to the neighborhood. Nearby, La Bombonera is home to Boca Juniors. Lunch with drinks and a return transfer to your hotel round out the day.
Arrive at Rojo Tango by private transfer with your bilingual guide for an intimate tango performance in a small venue. The rhythm, emotion, and gentle precision of the dance play out up close. From your seat near the performers, take in the embroidery, designs, and hairstyles that complete each costume. A gourmet dinner with drinks accompanies the show. A private transfer returns you to your hotel when the night winds down.

Nurtured by Nature
Venture into Argentina's legendary rugged playground in a private tour through beautiful Tierra del Fuego National Park. Sprawling across 18,000 square miles, this atmospheric landscape is home to ocean views, remote stretches of forests and rugged mountains. The biological richness of the Tierra del Fuego Island is simply stunning. Red foxes, cauquenes, ducks, Patagonian wood peckers and more than 90 species of birds are all part of the Fuegian fauna. The forest is formed by lengas, guindos, Ñires and valleys of peat and lichens. Ensenada Bay, Lake Roca and Lapataia Bay (the end of the Pan-American Highway that connects Alaska and Tierra del Fuego) give color to this unique place where you can still find reminders of the ancestral inhabitants: the yÁmanas.

USHUAIA TO PATAGONIA CRUISE

To Unknown Lands
Enjoy a two hour private guided orientation tour across the southernmost city in the world, led by an expert guide who will help you to discover some of the wonderful treasures of Ushuaia including panoramic viewpoints, historical sites, and of course, the local people. The excursion will depart from your hotel and begins downtown. After admiring the contrast between modern buildings and the typical wooden houses with gable roofs, the tour continues at the old Casa de Gobierno (Government Office of Tierra del Fuego) and at Nuestra SeÑora de la Merced Church, which was built in 1894, and was inaugurated in 1898. The tour then winds down with your final visit to the Saint Christopher Vessel, which came to rest in its current spot in Ushuaia Bay in 1953. The St. Christopher was brought to Ushuaia to raise the remains of the Monte Cervantes ship, a German vessel that floundered on the rocks in the Beagle Channel in 1930. At the end of your tour you will be brought back to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the day exploring at leisure or relaxing in your hotel.
Meet your English-speaking guide and driver for a private pier transfer.
Your journey begins in Ushuaia, Argentina. Make a brief technical stop in Port Williams to comply with Chilean customs and immigration requirements before proceeding along the Beagle Channel.
Note: The itinerary outlined is for reference only and may be subject to change based on factors such as weather and sea conditions. Priority is to provide a safe and enriching expedition experience, and adjustments may be made to optimize your journey.

BEAGLE CHANNEL

Where The Oceans Meet
The Beagle Channel is a striking narrow passage in the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego, a region originally named after the fires that burned in local native settlements when the first European explorers arrived. It belongs to both Chile and Argentina. Today, sail in view of spectacular ice formations sprawled along the sea from the snow-dusted Darwin Range. Sail along Glacier Alley, home to a family of five glaciers: the Holanda, Italia, Francia, Alemania, and Romanche glaciers. If conditions are right, explore the Garibaldi Fjord, where you will be surrounded by hanging and tidewater glaciers; nearby waterfalls are so close they can almost be touched.

STRAIT OF MAGELLAN

Fjords & Glaciers
While heading north along the Strait of Magellan, explore the waters of the fjords that branch out from Tierra del Fuego. Your cruise will follow the remote coast around the Francisco Coloane Marine Park, a protected area in the southern hemisphere where whales feed. If lucky, you may be able to spot humpback or sei whales breaching in the distance. You may also see dolphins, sea lions, seals, penguins, albatrosses, and petrels.

SOUTHERN ICE FIELDS

Mountains of Ice
Take an exploratory Zodiac cruise to the Amalia Glacier area or the surrounding glaciers along the Peel Fjord in the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. Bask in the glacier’s icy-blue beauty and cruise across the sea and among its ice floes to uncover part of Chile's natural mystique. As you sail between snow-capped peaks to get a closer look at the glacier and its brilliant yet rugged textures, we may spot dolphins swimming at a distance, cormorants or condors flying above, and otters.

SOUTHERN ICE FIELDS

Onward and Upward
Continue sailing north towards Messier Channel and sail through the dramatic 18-meter-wide (59 feet) English Narrows to have a closer look at the Southern Patagonian Ice Field in one of the nearby glaciers. Outside Antarctica, some of the largest glaciers in the southern hemisphere are found here. If conditions permit, you will visit Caleta Tortel, a small village, or the surrounding areas in the afternoon. Located between the mouth of the Baker River and a small cove within the Baker channel, Caleta Tortel consists mainly of stilt houses, typical of Chilotan architecture, built along the coast for several kilometers. There are no conventional streets; instead, there are wooden walkways built with Guaitecas cypress. The wooden walkways give the village its distinctive look and its unique culture.
