On arrival to the airport, meet your private driver for a convenient transfer to your hotel. Your driver will be waiting for you in front of the Europcar located in the public area of the Arrivals Hall level, in between the Old and the New terminal. Explore the mesmerizing depths of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage site with origins dating back to the 13th century. This underground marvel spans over 186 miles of tunnels, with stunning salt-sculpted chapels, spacious chambers, crystal-lined grottoes, and serene underground ponds, at an average depth of 820 feet. The tour requires a moderate level of physical fitness, covering 2 miles of walking and around 800 steps. Begin with a descent down the Danilowicz Shaft, 210 feet underground, and venture deeper through this remarkable feat of engineering before a mining elevator returns you to the surface. Please note: The Wieliczka Salt Mine tour involves navigating narrow passageways, uneven surfaces, and approximately 800 steps. This tour may not be suitable for visitors with limited mobility or claustrophobia. An adapted route is available with advance notice.
Spend part of the evening in Kazimierz, Krakow’s historic Jewish quarter, where a casual stop at Judah Food Market adds a lively street-food note to the neighborhood’s after-dark atmosphere.
