Taste and Tipple on a Vineyard Visit
Depart Trapani with a private driver, embarking on a full-day transfer to Realmonte, pausing en route to experience the delights of the Planeta Ulmo winery. Established in 1995 outside the village of Sambuca di Sicilia, Ulmo was the first of the Planeta wineries. Built near an ancient 16th-century stone farmhouse, the winery overlooks a picturesque estate, and houses the Iter Vitis open-air museum, dedicated to the history of Sicilian viticulture. Today, the Planeta farmhouse is a meeting place for wine aficionados and anyone wishing to experience the region’s land and history. On arrival, you'll be greeted by a Planeta staff member and led on a private visit of the winery, learning about the types of wine they produce on site. Nestled at 1,312 feet above sea level, the vineyard was built on an ancient riverbed to ensure ideal growing conditions for the vines. During your visit, you'll be treated to a tasting of five wines spanning the five Planeta territories on the island. You'll then indulge in a tasting of three Planeta extra-virgin olive oils, followed by a quaint Sicilian lunch provided at the winery. Fully satiated, continue with the remainder of your transfer to Realmonte.

Cross an Item off the Bucket List
Meet your private driver and embark on a full-day tour of the ancient Valley of the Temples, serene Kolymbetra Gardens, and the historic center of Agrigento. You'll first head to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Valley of the Temples, one of the must-see highlights of Sicily, where you'll meet your private local guide. A testimony to the presence of ancient Greeks in southern Italy, you'll witness and visit temples dating back to the 5th century BC along the Sacred Way, including the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Zeus, and the Temple of the Dioscuri. Continue to Kolymbetra Gardens where citrus trees blossom, pomegranates flourish, and wild olives grow as emerald as the surrounding leaves. Enjoy an included picnic lunch in this unique location, with arancini, cheeses with homemade marmalade, olives, extra virgin olive oil, and fine wines, all in a little corner of paradise among ancient Greek temples. In the afternoon, you'll spend some time exploring the medieval center of Agrigento. Lose yourself in a maze of narrow streets and hidden courtyards spilling off the main street Via Atenea, spotting the 14th century Basilica dell'Immacolata, the Santa Maria dei Greci Church with its ancient Doric columns intact, and more. Sights and Insights
Meet your private driver and embark on a full-day transfer to the port of Pozzallo, discovering UNESCO-listed towns, tasting local delicacies, and witnessing the beauty of typical Sicilian landscapes and architecture en route. Your first stop will be at a charming 18th-century country estate, home to a winery, where a guided visit will give insight into the specific processes used to cultivate grapes and produce wine. After a tour of the winery, you'll be treated to a 4-course tasting menu for lunch, paired with 3 wines produced on site. Visit Sicily's oldest confectionery where you'll be treated to a sample of the famous Modican chocolate. Last but not least is another Baroque gem, Scicli, a rather off-the-beaten-track location compared to its more frequented neighbors, Noto, Ragusa, and Modica. An ancient town with a settlement dating back as far as the Copper Age, the UNESCO-listed town of Scicli developed in a valley, with its medieval incarnation being rebuilt in stunning Baroque style after the catastrophic earthquake of 1693. Explore with an Expert
Golden limestone streets, grand faÇades, and hidden courtyards set the scene for an immersive walk through Valletta’s UNESCO-listed heart. Meet your private guide in your hotel lobby and explore Malta’s Baroque capital, founded in 1566 by the Knights of St. John. Stroll atmospheric streets past St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the contemporary City Gate and Triton Fountain, and the historic spine of Republic Street and St. George’s Square. Step inside the Manoel Theatre, commissioned in 1732 and among Europe’s oldest working theaters, where ornate interiors recall a flourishing age of opera and performance. Your tour concludes on foot back at your hotel.
Let the evening unfold at an easy pace with a stroll to Upper Barrakka Gardens, one of Valletta’s most captivating viewpoints. As the sun begins to dip, the Grand Harbour glows in warm shades of gold and amber, with the fortifications, domes, and waterfronts of the Three Cities catching the last light of day. Pause along the stone balustrades as church bells echo across the harbour and boats drift quietly below, then continue along Valletta’s historic bastioned walls, where wide promenades and lantern-lit streets invite a leisurely wander. As evening settles in, honey-colored limestone faÇades soften under the lights, balconies glow, cafÉs murmur with conversation, and the faint scent of the sea lingers in the air.

Winding the Wind-Swept Shorelines
Meet your private driver for a transfer to the marina where you'll meet your dedicated skipper and embark on a scenic and relaxing private boat cruise of the stunning coves and bays of Malta's northern coast. Once aboard, your skipper will discuss the ideal cruise itinerary based on current weather and sea conditions. Starting from either Portomaso or Laguna Marina, you'll aim to cruise to St. Paul's Island, a small uninhabited islet where you'll stop for a swim. Spot the statue of St. Paul and the stone ruins of a 17th century tower along its edge, the only obvious indications of past human activity on the island. Continue north and discover the Mellieha and Santa Maria Caves in Comino, naturally carved into limestone cliffs where they converge with the sea. Your second swim stop of the day is at the scenic Blue Lagoon, where you'll have the opportunity to snorkel amid the aquamarine waters. A picnic basket will be provided on board, with prosecco, water, and snacks, as you leisurely enjoy your time in this little paradise. The final stop of the day is at the Crystal Lagoon Caves, with yet another opportunity to swim and snorkel in stunning surroundings. Upon returning to your respective marina, your private driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

Island Time
Meet your private guide and driver as you embark on a full-day excursion to the island of Gozo. Board a ferry for a relaxing 30-minute ride over the island, disembarking to head inland as you visit the UNESCO-listed prehistoric site of the Ggantija Temples. Considered to be one of the oldest free-standing monuments in the world, predating Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids, these two temples date back to 3600 and 3200 BCE. Walk through the ancient stone remains, imagining the complex's original magnitude as it would've stood over 5,000 years ago. Weather permitting, venture to the top of the hills of Nadur for picturesque views of Ramla Bay. Across the bay, view Calypso Cave which is allegedly the cave that Homer wrote about in his famous writing, the Odyssey. Continue to Xerri’s Grotto where you'll descend a 32-foot spiral staircase into a scenic, natural cave boasting stalagmites and stalactites. Heading to the north coast of the island, admire the 350-year-old checkerboard-like salt pans, passed down through generations. Head west towards Dwejra Bay, perhaps the archipelago's most spectacular natural landmark where weather permitting, you'll board a traditional wooden boat for a short ride to enjoy a unique vantage point of the bay. Your Gozo experience culminates at the fortified Citadel in the heart of Victoria, where you can wander narrow alleyways and admire the hilltop's iconic Cathedral of the Assumption, completed in 1711. Conclude with a return ferry and transfer to your hotel in Valletta.

It’s All Ancient History
Meet your private driver for a transfer towards the nearby town of Tarxien, home to the ancient Hal Saflieni Hypogeum, a UNESCO World Heritage site. On arrival, you'll join a guide and a small group of no more than 10 participants and head underground to explore the incredible Hypogeum. A subterranean Neolithic structure, archaeologists believe the chambers are a sanctuary and necropolis dating back 6,000 years ago, nearly 1,500 years older than the Pyramids in Egypt. Halls and chambers are interconnected across three levels through a labyrinth of steps and doorways in this completely underground structure. Discover the various levels, spending time in specific rooms of the middle level with your small group, and learning about the history behind what archaeologists have uncovered. Upon completion of the tour, your private driver will return you to Valletta.
Meet your private driver for a transfer to Palazzo Parisio this evening, a 19th century palace in the village of Naxxar. A table reservation has been made in your name, allowing you to experience an À la carte meal in the palace's dazzling restaurant.
