The Adventure Begins
Experience the Eternal City through its most awe-inspiring landmarks on a full day of discovery. With a knowledgeable private guide and the comfort of private transfers, explore the very heart of Rome’s history, faith, and grandeur. Begin in Vatican City, home to the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo’s Creation of the World unfolds across the ceiling. Continue with a panoramic drive past Borghese Park, Janiculum Hill, Castel Sant’Angelo, Circus Maximus, the Victor Emmanuel Monument, and Capitol Hill. Walk through the Roman Forum, where Mark Antony gave his legendary speech, before stepping inside the Colosseum. Built nearly 2,000 years ago, this UNESCO-listed amphitheater once held up to 80,000 roaring spectators for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles.
Please note: Ticket sales for the Colosseum open 30 days in advance, and for the Vatican open 60 days in advance. While every attempt will be made to secure tickets for the indicated date and time of day, this cannot be guaranteed.
This self-guided walk begins in vibrant Trastevere and leads you along the gentle, winding paths of Janiculum Hill as Rome eases into evening. Move through the quiet charm of Via Garibaldi, where the sounds of the neighborhood fade and warm light settles over cobblestones, then continue past the graceful Tempietto di Bramante at San Pietro in Montorio. As you reach Piazzale Garibaldi, the city opens beneath you in a soft golden glow, with terracotta rooftops, distant domes, and the shimmering Tiber creating a view that invites slow reflection and the kind of photos that capture Rome at its most magical.
