See the Signature Sights in Style
Hard to believe that Hong Kong was once a simple fishing village. Today, it’s one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities. See all the highlights on this orientation tour, starting with a ride on the World's steepest funicular railway, the Peak Tram. The view from The Peak is spectacular! The city skyline with its skyscrapers, the world-famous Victoria Harbor and Kowloon, surrounded by peaceful green hillsides will take your breath away. The tram climbs about 1,200 feet and it’s so steep that the buildings you pass look like they're leaning. When you are back down again, you will visit Man Mo Temple, the oldest temple in the city. Close by is Cat Street, the place to browse for antique treasures, jade, silk products and handicraft items. A short walk to Graham Street and you’re in the middle of Hong Kong’s bustling street market life. Next enjoy the magnificent view of the skyline from a very different perspective when you cross Victoria Harbor on the beautifully recreated 1920s style Star Ferry. Time to indulge in Hong Kong’s famous lunch - Dim Sum - at Symphony by Jade Restaurant. In the afternoon, experience the exciting energy and feel the soul of Kowloon as you explore the back streets of the city. It’s almost an explosion of the senses: a walk through the Jade Market, to Goldfish Street where brightly colored tropical fish will dazzle you, the bursting colors of the Flower market and, finally, a stroll through Yuen Po Street Bird Garden to see the tranquil scene of men and their bird cages.

BANGKOK

Explore with an Expert
Bangkok is a city of contradictions: high-rise buildings and popular clubs abound, but so do golden temples and lively street fairs. A visit to the National Museum is great for history buffs, while shoppers will love the bargains in the Banglamphu district. Klong Toey, in central Bangkok, features a highly discounted market, offering fresh eel, dried fish, and the lively smells, sights, and sounds of this waterfront-pier area.
Meet your English-speaking guide at the Klong Toey port and transfer to the historical center of Bangkok by private vehicle with driver. Bangkok is a city of contrasts - Buddhist temples, golden-topped palaces, trendy sky bars, and traditional Thai living along the waterways - called khlongs - offering marvelous photo opportunities. This morning, head with your private guide to the historic center of Bangkok and start your day at Wat Suthat. Few visitors come to this temple early, so much the better to enjoy the monks melodic chanting ritual. It’s an incredible sensory experience. From here, a walk to Wat Pho (famous for its 141-footlong reclining Buddha) allows you a glimpse into small alleys with wooden houses, guardian spirit signs and lively fruit and flower markets. Your next stop takes you to the most revered shrine in the Kingdom, Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, as well as the splendor of the adjacent Grand Palace. For your last stop, we cross the Chao Phraya River by water-taxi to visit Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. Unique from the rest of Bangkok’s temples, Wat Arun’s iconic stunning design is made up of colorfully decorated spires that look as if to stand guard over the river. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely lunch at Savoey Restaurant. After lunch your guide will accompany you back to the pier by private vehicle.Where you’ll be staying

An Evening Out
At first glance, this diamond-shaped island just off the coast of Malaysia gleams with modernism and commercialism, making it seem more Western than Eastern. But as you continue to discover the city-state, you'll uncover the eclectic mix of cultures, religions, ancient treasures and British colonial impressions that give rise to a unique Singaporean identity. The cultural fusion is perhaps best expressed in Singapore's unofficial language, Singlish, a unique patois of English, Chinese and Malay.
Disembark your ship this morning in Singapore.
Meet your English speaking guide and driver for a transfer between your hotel and the cruise center with a private vehicle.
After you meet your guide and private driver at your hotel, today’s evening tour begins at Bugis Junction, one of the most vibrant shopping malls in Singapore. From there, head to BUGIS+, another mall home to an extensive variety of food and shopping delights, like the largest Uniqlo outlet in Singapore. Next up, visit the iconic Bugis Street. This lively shopping hub is enjoyed by locals and tourists alike and is one of the most popular shopping spots in Singapore for souvenirs, accessories, clothes, and electronics. Afterwards, head to the trendy Haji Lane, home to some of the city’s best boutiques, cafes, and Middle Eastern restaurants. Tucked away in Singapore’s Kampong Glam, you’re sure to find one of a kind gems in this idyllic part of town. At the end of the tour, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

Cultural Immersion
Exploring key city highlights, this excursion brings you the best of Singapore with a “Crazy, Rich” twist. It all begins at one of the top places to visit in Asia, Gardens by the Bay, a sprawling park built at a cost of over one billion dollars. Opened June 2012, this “can’t-miss” attraction features two domes or conservatories, the Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome, which are climate-controlled indoor glasshouses. The Flower Dome (the larger of the two) replicates the cool-dry climate of the Mediterranean and South Africa, whilst the Cloud Forest replicates a cool-moist climate found in Tropical Montane regions such as Mount Kinabalu in Sabah and high elevation areas in South America. Within the gardens, there are 18 impressive-looking Supertrees; incredible vertical gardens up to 164-feet (50 meters) tall and perform a multitude of functions. Along with providing a bird’s eye view of the entire gardens, they also collect rainwater, generate solar power and act as vending ducts for the park’s conservatory. Moving on, you’ll head to the newest attraction in Singapore, the iconic Marina Bay Sands SkyPark®. Crowning the three hotel towers of Marina Bay Sands some 656-feet (200-meters) in the sky, the Sands SkyPark® stretches longer than the Eiffel Tower if laid flat. The Sands SkyPark® is also home to the world’s largest public cantilever housing a public observatory deck, lush gardens, and a mesmerizing 492-foot (150-meter) infinity swimming pool. Next, head over to Newton Food Center, a Victorian wrought-iron structure. With close to 100 stalls, it’s no wonder this food center got chosen to be featured in Crazy Rich Asians. Food gurus strongly recommends Hup Kee Fried Oyster Omelette, Kwee Heng Duck Noodle, Kwang Kee Teochew Fish Porridge, Bee Heng Popiah, Soon Wah Fishball Kway Teow Mee (for fishball noodles) and Chong Pang Huat, for barbecued chicken wings. After lunch, take a stroll around the vicinity of Chijmes, a colonial-era compound (strangely spelt due to Singaporeans’ love of acronyms, but pronounced Chimes) was variously a convent and a school (the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus Middle Education School. Constructed in 1840–1841, The Caldwell House, currently a wedding venue, and the Gothicstyle chapel, renamed as CHIJMES Hall, currently a function hall, have both been gazetted as national monuments. After visiting these sites, you will be returned to your hotel.
Like its namesake head chef Anne-Sophie Pic, La Dame De Pic comes from a long line of culinary excellence with its predecessors, Michelin-starred Maison Pic and Chef Pic founded by her grandfather and father in France, respectively. 'La Dame' features a high-ceilinged dining room with grand arches, modern light fixtures, and a lush garden. Set menus feature (mostly) French cuisines, thereby re-creating a number of signatures À la 'Chef Pic.' Singaporean touches are represented cleverly the hors d'oeuvres courses.
Please note: This is a reservation-only service. The meal is to be paid for on the evening-of or upon checkout from the hotel.
