The Adventure Begins
Upon landing at Keflavik, your associate meets you at the gate with a Kensington sign and guides you directly through passport control via fast track, bypassing the queues entirely. From baggage claim through to the arrivals hall, every step is managed on your behalf.
Meet your driver-guide at the airport for a transfer toward Reykjavik, with a stop at a local Icelandic bakery along the way. Your guide then accompanies you through hotel check-in and walks you through your travel documents before the day ahead.
Your welcome package, including your full itinerary and any relevant documents for your trip, will be waiting on arrival in destination.
Board a private helicopter for the 1.5-hour flight north to Olafsfjordur and Eleven Deplar Farm. Weather permitting, your pilot will make a brief landing en route for scenic views before continuing to the property.
Set on Iceland's Troll Peninsula, Eleven Deplar Farm tailors every day entirely to your interests, with your concierge on hand to shape the experience around you. Your all-inclusive stay covers daily guided activities, gourmet meals, all house beverages, and a stocked minibar. Adventures range from e-biking and surfing Arctic waves to lake fishing, kayaking, and whale watching, while the lodge's geothermal pools, Viking sauna, and spa offer a natural counterbalance at the end of the day.

Venture into the Outdoors
Explore the landscapes surrounding Deplar Farm on foot with your guide, choosing the pace and terrain that suits you. A gentle walk through the Svaradvardalur Nature Reserve follows quiet trails through lush scenery, while steeper routes reward the climb with panoramic views across the Troll Peninsula. Hiking is offered as a shared activity with fellow lodge guests.

Nurtured by Nature
Head out with a local guide to Lake Stifluvatn, where Atlantic salmon, sea-run brown trout, and Arctic char are all in residence. The beat system rotates anglers across the water to keep each stretch undisturbed, and the variety of rivers and lakes in the area means no two days fish the same. Fishing here is a shared experience, with fellow lodge guests joining on the water.

OLAFSFJORDUR TO REYKJAVIK

On the Road Again
Travel from Olafsfjordur to Reykjavik by private vehicle along the Silver Circle, with stops across some of Iceland's most distinctive terrain. The route takes in Glaumbaer Torfhus, a turf farmhouse from Iceland's settlement era around 800 AD, the Vatnsnes peninsula where the Hvitserkur rock formation rises alongside a seal colony, and the rim of Grabok volcanic crater above Borgarfjordur's lava fields. A BBQ lunch follows before the afternoon moves to Hraunfossar's glacial waterfalls and Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring, before the drive closes in Reykjavik.
Dine this evening at Grillmarkadurinn in downtown Reykjavik, where the menu centers on a tasting menu served family-style and built around Icelandic produce sourced directly from local farmers. The kitchen works with fire logs, coals, open flame, and smoke, traditional Icelandic methods that shape the character of each dish from the ground up. Drinks are payable locally.

Explore with an Expert
Set out along the Ring Road with your private guide for a full day on Iceland's South Coast, taking in Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls on their 200-foot drops, the towering basalt columns near Vik, and black sand beaches stretching to the horizon. The Dyrholaey Nature Reserve offers elevated views over the coastline when accessible. On the return to Reykjavik, the day closes with a tasting of Icelandic schnapps and a 3-course langoustine dinner.

A final scenic flight returns you to the city, where your driver is waiting for the transfer back to your hotel.
Meet your private driver for the 45-minute transfer from Reykjavik to Grindavik.
Settle in for a 7-course tasting menu at Moss Restaurant at The Retreat Hotel, where the kitchen's approach is rooted in fresh, local, and seasonal Icelandic ingredients prepared with a creative and elevated hand. Every dish reflects a deep connection to the island and its produce.
