GENEVA
You’ve Arrived
On arrival at the airport, a local assistant will greet you and review any relevant documents. They'll then direct you to your awaiting driver for a private transfer to your Geneva hotel.
A Welcome Package with a copy of your itinerary, tickets (if relevant), and any other information that we deem you may find useful, will be provided to you in destination.
Meet your guide for a 3-hour walking tour that will introduce you to authentic Swiss, specifically Geneva’s, regional specialties. During your tour, you will stop at many of Geneva’s top and trendy chocolate, cheese outlets, bakeries, boutique shops, and farmers market (only on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Alternatively, at the Halle des Rives, you can partake in a variety of culinary tastings. Among the culinary creations and marvels, you will sample traditional chocolate PavÉs de GenÈve (Geneva paving stones), which also makes for ideal gifts to take home! You will begin your tour on the shores of Lake Leman along Geneva's right bank offering stunning views of the Alps beyond and the towering Jet d'Eau – the world's tallest fountain. Continue along Geneva's park-like promenades and across the Rhone River into Geneva's ritzy shopping and banking district. This area of the Old Town features a Gothic maze of cobblestone streets topped by the famous Saint Peter’s Cathedral, the Town Hall, Halle de Rive and the Place Neuve. Your walking tour will conclude with your guide escorting you back at your hotel.
