Las Lajas, Piedra del Águila, and El Ceferino are three popular intermediate trails, each offering a unique experience with varying terrain and views. Las Lajas is a wide, gently sloping run that winds through scenic alpine forests, making it a favorite for those looking for a more relaxed, cruising experience. It’s ideal for skiers who are still refining their technique and prefer smoother descents with plenty of space to maneuver. In contrast, Piedra del Águila is slightly more challenging, with a steeper pitch and narrower sections that require more control and precision. This trail offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and is great for skiers who want to test their skills on a more varied slope without venturing into advanced territory. Lastly, El Ceferino is a versatile intermediate trail with some exciting variations in pitch, providing a mix of faster, more exhilarating sections and smoother, more gentle stretches. The trail also offers fantastic views of the resort and the nearby peaks, making it a great option for skiers looking to explore a bit more while still enjoying moderate difficulty.
El Molle and La Pera are two advanced trails that offer a thrilling challenge, each with its own distinct characteristics. El Molle is known for its steep sections and more technical terrain, making it a favorite among experienced skiers seeking a high-adrenaline descent. The trail is often covered in powder, especially after fresh snowfall, and its narrow, winding sections through alpine forests require quick reflexes and solid control. La Pera, on the other hand, is slightly longer and features a combination of steeper, more intense pitches and wide-open spaces, providing skiers with both fast runs and more technical, demanding areas. The terrain here can be more variable, often with moguls and challenging snow conditions, which keeps it exciting for advanced skiers who enjoy a bit of unpredictability. While both trails offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Nahuel Huapi, El Molle tends to appeal more to those who prefer a rugged, forested descent, while La Pera is better suited for those looking for a varied run with a mix of terrain and a more open feel.
